Math Equations Example

This post demonstrates how to use math equations in your blog posts.

Inline Math

You can use inline math with single dollar signs: $E = mc^2$ or $P(A|B) = \frac{P(B|A) \cdot P(A)}{P(B)}$.

Block Math

For block equations, use double dollar signs:

$$P(A|B) = \frac{P(B|A) \cdot P(A)}{P(B)}$$

Here's another example with a more complex equation:

$$\int_{-\infty}^{\infty} e^{-x^2} dx = \sqrt{\pi}$$

Matrix Example

You can also display matrices:

$$\begin{bmatrix} a & b \\ c & d \end{bmatrix} \begin{bmatrix} x \\ y \end{bmatrix} = \begin{bmatrix} ax + by \\ cx + dy \end{bmatrix}$$

Summation

$$\sum_{i=1}^{n} i = \frac{n(n+1)}{2}$$
